Reality of Depression TV Economics. And Advertising Revenue is getting smart: its going to highly targeted venues like Google. If this is ALL that we see in terms of stations sharing assets--its very good news. So the theme is--get used to more work for less money...
A few other markets are actually looking at sharing PHOTOGRAPHERS. They're looking at "pictures" as a commodity. I know--you laugh--just as you laughed at the silly thought of One Man Bands. Well, OMBs ultimately may be the UNIONs answer to Stations seeking to "Pool" Spot News Coverage...stay tuned...

So they will they share reporters as well or just video and the news helicopter? Do you think when one of the stations uses the other stations video will they say "this video is from WBZ"? ect.

Just video. Since it will be 'owned' by both stations, no citation will be needed.

Just video. Since it will be 'owned' by both stations, no citation will be needed. How about anchor swapping?

Nope... Just video of press conferences, water main breaks, etc. The stuff that is shown on all stations, but from a slightly different vantage point.
