This is true. He's an old friend of mine and we spoke earlier. Obviously, I'm not at liberty to give specifics, only to say that he's getting out of TV news.

He may, but I'll leave that decision up to him; I'm just trying to respect his privacy until or unless he decides he wants to elaborate. Besides which, it's not (strictly speaking) our market, but certainly worthy of a mention.

There's a story on this in the Providence paper. He quit abruptly and says he's going to be a day trader. I guess their weather guy is going to replace in the interim
