Then explain to me why Emily Rooney's program did a whole segment and panel discussion on it, even when Jon Keller had (and continues to) appear regularly on that show? And even if they did put it on the website, that's a very out-of-the-way form of disclosure - not adequate in my opinion. Max, I have no idea about the WGBH show. But they definitely DID mention it on the air at least a few times during the regular newscasts during election season. I heard it at least a few times on TV. I seem to remember the WGBH segment mentioning that they only did any sort of disclosure after some degree of heavy pressure. I'll have to try and find it if I can, and I'll be more than happy to do a mea culpa to the necessary extent.

Agreed. The WB56 10 p.m. newscast had no set, no budget, and no glitz. It was strictly an "NBC" operation (Nuthin' But Content). And it was by far the best. Anything is better than that horrendous Maria on Fox25 with her junior high-school, louder-is-better, Valley Girl diction. Yuck! Karen Marinella was all class, all the time.

I find his demeanor and presentation style quite annoying. My exact sentiments.

OK, BTVNAdmin, three weeks and counting. Are you going to back up your statement or deliver the promised apology?

Well, I do remember the segment, and the only reason I do remember it is because of Emily Rooney saying that she felt a certain personal discomfort with discussing it (because he's on the show a lot) but felt it necessary, but I can't seem to find it. If I do, I'll post it, but for now mea culpa maxima!
