Just read a blog from A.J. Burnett that Thursday night was his last night at Fox 25. Sorry to see him go - wonder what happened?

Channel 25 didn't renew Burnett's contract, just as they didn't renew Kim Carrigan's contract. The station's motto is "younger, cheaper."

How long had A.J. been at Fox 25? I thought he did a credible job. Who fills in for the other meteorologists when they're off? The weekend fill-in, Sara (sorry I don't recall her married name) who looks like she'll be off on maternity leave in about three months?
If Fox wants to save some money, why don't they look at VB? IMHO, there's a big waste of money.
