Oh yeah -- it's the NBC network feed! I know that NE had a "blockbuster" snowstorm today -- but 14 straight hours of mind-numbing coverage of coastal non-damage, talking heads standing in snowbanks, and gazing at user-contributed snow photos, I'm ready to jump out a window! (don't worry, I tuned into other things to maintain sanity). Anyway, I know this is a Boston TV News forum, and I'm certainly not trying to offend anyone, as there is value in covering the storm and its ongoing impact in an expanded way. But, preempting everything else (save for those "hard breaks" to squeeze in National Floors Direct and Stana-Lift) for a marathon session of repetition is nuts! I'm somewhat grateful that my cable system also carries the Providence locals. At least I got to watch the first half-hour of the Today show to remind me that there are other things going on...

I agree. This has been mentioned before-but the wall to wall coverage doesn't do it for me. Updates at the top (maybe bottom) of the hour are sufficient. When the heck does Harvey have time to pee?
