Think they will utilize the lovely and talented Sara more now? Probably more of Erin Hawksworth and Alison Bologna.

Well, she had only been back from maternity leave for a few weeks, so I really don't think anyone is going to be "used more."
Doesn't work like that. Fox will just get by with one less person, just like every other TV station in the country is doing.

a poster put this on the tvspy watercooler....
"If you are a contract FOX O&O employee, and you are up or a window is coming due in your deal....you will be fired....but, they will offer to rehire you.....at a 13% pay cut.....and it must be at least a three year deal.... A source tells me, that the first employee offered this "deal" at his station, walked out. Unfortunately, I suspect most of you will be forced to bend over and take it. "

I sure hope they've done this to the Morning Show people on Fox 25. A 13% cut would still leave them over-paid, but maybe some would follow that guy's cue and walk out. 'Helicopter boy' Doug is as useless as they come, with little 'side jobs' ("Oh, so THAT's the correct way to peel a cucumber and toss a salad!!!") to mask the fact that all he does is look out the window of a helicopter and tell people what he sees. Then there's Gene, perhaps the most limp-wristed anchor out there. He's dressing and acting a little more 'manly' now. A little.

Careful, Chris, those comments about Gene are coming close to being unacceptable. You have a point about how they utilize their talent, but such a personal attack is really rather out-of-line.

Yea, but if they(Fox25) can successfully nibble away at national shows which so far they've done a good job of, the Helicopter Boy. VB and rest of their crew will be employed. It's all about the TV screen sending a message to the eyeballs sending a message to the brain sending a message to your hands to open the wallet, etc.
