But channel 5's new "bug" that they use in their newscast isn't visually pleasing. Their old one looked a lot nicer. It looks like this one isn't even in HD.

And Eleven At Eleven is hard to read, if you're not in HD.

Agreed. And Eleven At Eleven is hard to read, if you're not in HD. I was going to mention "Eleven at Eleven" as a nitpick of my own. Not because of the graphics though, just because it's the sort of gimmicky crap that I'd sooner expect out of 7.

One would expect "eleven at eleven" to be something from Channel 11, such as in the New York metro market. If WCVB wants a gimmick, they could do "your weather in the first '5' minutes," just like the CBS affiliate in Atlanta does on its horrible, horrible newscast -- the one with a news reader but not a field reporter in sight.
