No compassion from WBZ for Ken - his brother was killed in an auto accident two weeks ago. Not a fan of Melissa or Todd but I guess young and pretty is what is important these days! Barry should be the Chief.

As said many times before here on BTVN, Barry has been offered the Chief position but has not taken it.

An opportunity for Mike Wankum to move to WBZ and become Chief met, the title he held at WLVI? Such a shame and waste of a great on-air persona to see him stuck in those weekend time slots.

I never understood WHY he was chief met. They in fact went out of their way to tell us that he was not even from New England a while back when Lisa Hughes and him took a stroll in the park... lol

barlow was good, but he never really seemed to be a phenomenal on-air person. a little too low-key for my taste. gutner is a good choice, but i agree with the sentiments about wankum, too. he is great on-air and does a good job with breaking down meteorological trends so us regular folks can understand them. i'd like to see him as chief met at bz.
