My guess is - having been a freelancer - they gave him a try and decided he wasn't for them. Harsh, but it goes with the territory not only of being a freelancer, but also, needless to say, of working for WHDH.

I'll miss him. I met him once and he was nice. 7 puts the best out to pasture, but hasn't figured out that Christa Delcamp is so boring.
