WBZ CSD Wendy McMahon Leaves for KABC

Wendy McMahon, WBZ-TV's Creative Services Director is leaving for KABC in Los Angeles. She joins the west coast ABC Network flagship in September.

This is quite a loss for the station. The overall look and personality of WBZ is admired by the industry and has begun to be emulated by stations across the country. I would hope that her successor is not foolish enough to tinker with the success the creative services team has achieved.

That's a shame. Although good for her, moving up to a bigger market. She takes the creative service director to the next level. I hope they get someone who will continue to make BZ stand out.
