It has been MANY MANY years since my mother rubbed VVR on my chest when I was a child, so forgive me for my ignorance, but...
Why on earth would Fox show video of a parent rubbing VVR on a child's FOOT when doing their story about VVR? Do people actually rub it on their feet, and if so, why?
Again, forgive my ignorance. But I found this highly unusual.

Maybe they thought the site of a bare-chested child might irk the FCC? (God knows why) Or perhaps the mother isn't using it for its intended purpose.

C'mon, give him a break, it's like, really hard to do a google search.
But also, anyone who works in a newsroom know the flat out answer: thats file tape they're using. It's why we still see file footage of people smoking from the 80s or casino broll from 10 years ago. We don't send people out to get 10 seconds of video for a VO. It had nothing to do with not wanting to irk the FCC.

Ya know, I "google" something 10 times a day, minimum. Honestly don't know why I didn't the other night. But I think I just happened to have this message board open at the time of the story, thus my instant rush to post rather than google. Yes, the volume was up, but there was no reference to rubbing feet. JJ (had to google "touché" in order to get it with the accent symbol above the e)
