Why did Dawn get removed from the weekend evenings? She & Ken were the best team on the weekends, no team since then has been so good.
These days it seems like Dawn is the unofficial weekend anchor, I really feel its a big demotion. What's the story?
Why hasn't 4 hired any new reporters in so long? Are they that broke? I heard they hired somebody new, but I can't confirm it.
Why doesn't 4 let any of its reporters fill-in on the anchor desk? Is it a policy, 4 has so much talent and it makes me wonder.
Will 4 ever get a new person to split the shifts with Lisa, she does a lot of shifts and it seems like Kate is her fill-in but I didn't see her anchor Thanksgiving with Jonathan.
Sorry for so many questions but its been bugging me.

Perhaps they chose to remove Dawn from weekend evenings since she took over for Ken on weekend mornings.
As far as reporters anchoring, I've seen Sera Congi and Eileen Curran fill in.

A replacement for Mish Michaels has been hired and she will start in the new year. Karen Anderson, Sera Congi, and Eileen Curran all fill-in from time to time. I'm not sure what you mean. Lisa co-anchors at 5PM, 6PM, and 11PM. What split shifts? |

I've seen Sera & Eileen fill-in, but Karen Anderson? When did she fill-in? I generally only see other anchors on 4 fill-in for each other.
To clarify on the other thing; I meant is Lisa always going to do all the evening shifts, Jack & Jonathan split the evening shifts. Why doesn't someone else do the 5PM with Jonathan?
Full Disclosure: I adore Lisa on the 5PM, I just think she co-anchors a lot of slots.

I think Lisa is doing the 5pm with Jonathan because 4 wants to establish chemistry between the two. There seems to be little doubt that he will end up replacing Jack, when the time comes (which I hope won't be for a while).

Dawn just said that she is moving to another market to anchor weekdays in a major city but said she could not say where.

As much as I'm really sad she's going, I'm not suprised, she was too good for 4. Top of the line reporting. I wish her the best of luck in the new job. Would love to know where?

I'm not suprised, she was too good for 4. I think plenty of people would be elated to be employed by a major station in the 7th biggest market. Not everyone can work in NYC.. |

According to the WFLD Chicago website, Dawn is joining Fox Chicago to coanchor the noon news. The release also says she is a native of Chicago and glad to be returning to her hometown.

I am so happy that she's going to Chicago but I'll miss her. But I am also friends with the anchor she's replacing.
