Well, you may or may not have a point, but given how weak the opposition (56) is at that hour, I'm sure a dip in ratings (post-Idol?) would be almost imperceptible.

Kind of agree with avon.
Liked Maria with Wade. Nice pairing. But separation of these 2 anchors showed me a lot. Wade has shown me A TON in a more expanded anchor/host role in the mornings. The guy is smart and has a finger on the pulse of whats going on. Seperation form Maria seemed to set him free and seems to have removed him from Maria's shadow in a 25 format that stifled his abilities.
Maria, on the other hand, seems to me like she's anchoring the Maria Show I don't see a balance there at all. With the 25 format, I thought Wade was kind of a lightweight. Was I WRONG. The nice thing about a morning show format is--it reveals talent for better or worse.
And the AM pairing at WBZ is by no means ideal, but both anchors seem to be making the MOST of it. Thats impressive to me.
