Lisa Hughes did the 11:00 p.m. news Monday night on WBZ Radio. Anyone know what's up with that?

Lisa Hughes is truly growing as one of the prominent anchors in Boston. She is lovely and talented. I'm glad BZ has stuck with her for so long.

I could not disagree more...I never cared for her. To me she just seems like she is faking her interest....acting all serious...especially when it comes to the local sports teams.
Just my opinion.........

I'll respectfully disagree with pellmunch. I find Ms. Hughes refreshing, with a light touch. She is the reason I watch 'BZ (though I miss Heather on Ch. 5). YMMV

I am not a fan of Lisa Hughes on TV as she comes across as phony and insincere. On Radio for some reason I can tolerate her. Just my opinion.

I think they have either Jack or Liz tape a quick couple minutes of news that runs after the Hourly Net News Feed they run on WBZ AM in the evenings. BZ Radio cut the Evening News in budget cuts at the beginning of the year.
I thought it sounded pretty bad when I heard Jack reading the WBZ Radio news at 11:06 PM--while he was on LIVE on WBZ TV.
