Tell me the last time we got 134 posts in three weeks. You can't, because it hasn't happened before. As far as the main pages go, it's been a really dry period for news and we can't help that.
Oh yeah, and while I'm at it, I'm one of the people who gets to run things around here while Rob takes a sabbatical. So... I get to say what's kosher. I used to get criticized - erroneously in my opinion - for deleting posts that people felt shouldn't have been; now I'm inviting new people in the process (that we couldn't before because there was no guest option) and I'm getting flack for that - it seems I can't win!
The multiple hundreds of periods (3,942 if my MS Word character count is correct, and which I am about to modify for the sake of navigability) clearly show that your eight-year-old daughter has a lot of things to teach you about maturity.
We're in a new location, which means we need time to grow again. In the meantime, I'd invite you to stick around and enjoy while accepting that you don't get to make the rules... or you can just move along.

Whatever Max, let the gawkers just spit out when they want, relevant or NOT. People that can't even take the time to register, to me, aren't people that really care about what your attempting to do here. Way to build a community. Sorry man, but a major thumbs down on this site. My 8 yr old daughter could have put together something more user friendly and appealing. All the time over the years having to hear about the "NEW BTVN", big raspberry for you. This place is like a ghost town, hellooooooooooo..........................................is there anyone out there?

Thus, to reinforce what Max said, the guest BigTime did add something relevant to this discussion, whereas you did not. Sorry to hear your 8 year old daughter has a role model like you in her life. Now, to add to THIS discussion, AA is indeed, for the most part, produced by Kraft. I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out. Don't expect the graphic look, or the majority of the show to change outside of the talent being used. The station won the right to air the show with very few local avail's to sell.

I'm sure you can understand that someone in my position should not and cannot be registering for sites like this. It was difficult to contribute to the last version of this page because of the registration option... so I appreciate the guest choice here.
If you want me to share my insights and knowledge, this is the price you pay. I'm not going to put my job on the line in this economy because you feel like I'm not helping the "community."
My posts are my contribution.
If you doubt the veracity of the information I've shared here, go be a real journalist and make some calls. You'll find I'm 100% right.
To Max and the others - thank you for realizing content is king. I shall continue to share my thought here on this and other topics.

I'm seriously having trouble remembering the last time one of my editorial decisions was actually praised, but I really do appreciate the sentiment!

All right enough of the ball washing, please.
Max, "editorial decisions"?
As some have pointed out in the past, you moderate a message board, you really need to lose the thought that your running some fortune 500 company here.
Big Time, I don't think they're asking for your name, address and SS# to register here, I mean really what are you jeopardizing by simply registering?

I may not be running a Fortune 500 company, but I am a moderator here (the lead one for the time being, in Rob's absence, although we are looking for another if anyone is interested), which begs this question: If I (with seven years of hard work and experience on BTVN) don't have the right - according to you - to suggest to people how they ought to behave around here, what in the name of all that is holy makes you think that YOU DO? I'll say it again - as long as the posts from unregistered visitors are on-topic and are not disruptive or spammy - they WILL be warmly welcomed. That is my final word on this matter.

According to an article in today's Boston Herald (http://www.bostonherald.com/business/media/view.bg?articleid=1143875&format=&page=2&listingType=media#articleFull), Patriots All-Access will move to WBZ next fall. The program is produced by Kraft Sports Media. The program previously aired on WCVB. Does anyone know if the deal includes Patriots preseason football games? Considering all the corporate ties(CBS Place, etc) and 4 already showing majority of Pats games(regular season and playoffs), the move to make WBZ one stop-shop for Pats content and preseason is a no-brainer.

I would support a bit of the 'loudmouth' behavior from someone like Zolak because he has played the game before. The rocks need to be thrown at the hosts ('talent') who do not have any pro ball experience yet are loudmouths anyway. That would mean Steve Burton and others of his ilk, who are massively irritating thanks to their know-it-all attitudes. Boston has way too many of those type of personalities.
