Sunbeam and NBC have always had a rocky relationship, look what happened at WSVN.

Jay Leno has gotten the boot. Thats why 7News @10:00 will air on 7 now. No word yet on what will happen to 56. No, Leno will still be on every NBC affil in the nation...........except channel 7 in market 7. Ridiculous.

Jay Leno has gotten the boot. Thats why 7News @10:00 will air on 7 now. I guarantee that WHDH will 'bow to public pressure' and yield to NBC. You come looking for me if I turn out to be wrong. Simply put, WHDH wants to yank a prime-time hour and call it their own. It's obviously a money grab; a desire to simply create out of whole cloth an hour of programming that WHDH can rake in 100% of the ad dollars. That's all it is. It's not whether they are 'responding to an unprecedented demand for more news' because there ISN'T an unprecedented demand for more news. In point of fact, people want LESS of these poofy-haired under-educated marionettes...not more. It's selfish, it's self-serving, and I hope it fails miserably (in the remote chance WHDH is stupid enough to stay their obstinate course here).

It's Ed Ansin we're talking about though... And your criticism of the "unprecedented demand for more news" makes it seem like nobody watches...
