My thoughts on 7!

I think 7 made a smart yet stupid move recently. It was a great idea to pair two women together at the desk for the 10 p.m. but not Kim and Frances. Did you catch Christa and Frances last night? The chemistry they had together was amazing. I have never seem Frances connect with anyone they way she did with Christa. Those two belong paired together. Forget Kim! As a matter of fact, when Randy retires, I think 7 should have this team:
Today in New England: Lauren Przybyl and _______________
4 and 5:30: Christa Delcamp and Adam Williams
5, 6, 11: Matt Lorch and Frances Rivera
10: Christa and Frances
weekend evenings: kim khazei and jonathan hall
weekend mornings: anne allred and brandon rudat

7 needs to connect to its views. the only way to contact them is by email that they never return (not all of them).
what about blogs, a tine interaction. look at 'bz, they have conversation nation, rac, curiosity, all the fun stuff. what does 7 have, none of it. they could go far with it. get blogging 7!

I think 7 is a good station with good people and a good format. I would rather see 7 put Adam in the main slot. He is a great anchor and I would really like to see that.

I would rather see 7 do this:

5,6,11 Randy & Frances
10: Frances & Lauren
4,4:30,5:30 Lauren & Brandon
Mornings/Noon Adam & Anne
Weekend Evenings Jonathan & Sorboni
Weekend Mornings Kim & Matt

It would use some highly talented people. I have never liked Christa as an anchor so that's my team.

i like that but brandon on weekdays, not a good idea...more like weekend mornings. i think adam should be put in the main slot, great anchior. he and christa anchor great together...good chemistry.

I agree with putting Brandon and Lauren back together.
They really have great on air chemistry.
The current line up is not appealing.

Frances "Pull out my mirror and check my hair every second I'm off camera" Rivera feels threatened by Kim because she knows that if she pulls any B.S., Linda Miele will just put Kim in Frances' spot. They're old buddies and Linda was instrumental in bringing Kim back to the station. Like it or not, Kim is the "heir apparent" to Frances' throne. Kim and Randy have great chemistry and would make the best pairing. I do agree that Frances did seem to enjoy Christa's company the other evening, but again, it's probably because it WASN'T Kim on the desk with her. Also, love or hate Matt (I personally love him, he's a fantastic anchor), he's the "heir apparent" to Randy's seat as well.

So that being said, here's my "dream team" at 7:

4, 4:30, 5:30: Matt and Frances
5, 6, 11: Kim and Randy
10PM: Frances and Christa
TINE: No Changes
Weekend TINE: Steve Cooper (great anchor!) and Sorboni Banerjee
Weekend 6, 10, 11: No Changes

You can all go back and rework your dream teams. Lauren is leaving the station shortly. In fact, she found an anchor job in Dallas, but 7 wouldn't let her leave a few months before her contract expired, hence the reason she was taken off the desk (and replaced by Christa).
