I can only hope that when the cuts come to 'BZ that they don't go too far...

Also, WJZ-TV (13/Baltimore) changed their locks at their studios after they cut a few people.

One question I have about WBZ-TV: Do you agree they've been a holdout in going almost exclusively with kiddie corps cheepo on-air talent? I know, I know--they have some rookies. BUT it seems like they have more older vets and they have some in positions where other stations have gone younger and cheaper.

I DO NOT want to see them get rid of their veteran talent, but my observation is they really can't reduce body count much further. That would seem to mean they probably have to look to get rid of higher paid talent (as they already have with Joyce K, Lobel, etc)
