I was on Channel 7's website looking up the News Team to see if they added Amanda Grace yet but they havent. They have added the new weather man Mark Margarit. Any reason why?
I think Amanda Grace was a great addition to the "News Station" she is a great reporter! Go Amanda!

Just saw Ms. Grace anchor the Saturday morning newsfest. She exhibits tremendous elegance and poise. I am very impressed. In my opionion, no one in the Boston market could ever come close to exuding the class and elegance of WCVB's Gail Huff, but Ms. Grace certainly seems to have been cast from the same mold. As of Valentine's Day, she is not yet added to the WHDH Web site.

I to watched 7 News Today in New England this morning and saw Amanda Grace on and she did a GREAT JOB! I like Sorbani but Amanda did a better job delivering the news. She is the next best thing that happen to Channel 7 and God only knows they need all the good help and compliments to keep the views coming and keeping them afloat.
I am a hude 7 News fan but after what they did to Randy i see my self not watching 7 in the evenings. I still think they have a great morning team!

Agree. Saw Amanda for the first time this weekend. I'll give her a solid A. She has presence, charm, and class.
So...whats she doing on 7?
In all seriousness, 7 got it right on this one.

Hmm... I must have to watch her again.
I found her very sleepy and on qualudes at times.
Gail Huff, Dianne Sawyer also seem medicated to the point of sleep. I never considered that = classy.
She didn't seem to match the delivery of WHDH.
I personally found it difficult to watch her that day. Perhaps it was just nerves and I shall watch her again.
At times her Virginian accent that she didn't lose in San Diego came thru loud and clear and I found it even more difficult to view.

I agree...I haven't seen her on the air in the past two weeks. Janet Wu has been on the weekends. Also, the week before that she reported for Today in New England at 5 a.m., was recorded at 6 a.m. and had nothing for the noon.

I give Amanda a solid A. She's a very good anchor and a very solid reporter. 7 has had mixed results with their on-air hires the past couple of years IMO. Amanda is a stand-out in every respect. Good hire!

Amanda and Dave should be the main anchors. Intelligent, great chemistry and no silly banter. The future A Team on 7 in my opinion.

I'll agree with cjrinme. Ms. Grace's surname is apt. She is classy, elegant and, indeed, graceful. If anything, she's too elegant to be simply reading news.
