The Herald is reporting that Alice Cook's contract is not being renewed after 25 years of reporting Sports at Channel 4. Sorry to hear that as I always liked her.

If it's a sports personality they're going to dump, it should be the feeble Gino Cappalletti, color man on the Patriots' radio broadcasts. The man can no longer speak in complete sentences. A world-class football team deserves world-class play-by-play and analysis. With Gil Santos, they're still getting the play-by-play. As for the analysis, Mr. C ain't it.

I've always been a Gil fan, be he is also not even close to what he used to be. Time for a restructuring in the booth!!
Back to Alice, this is sad. It's tough to see long-time dedicated familiar faces let go. I know WHDH can relate to this...............NOT! Another example of a sign of the times. I wish her well.
