I watched the 10:00 news last night (June 14th) and it appeared to be the first HD newscast. Not much different...the intro is different although similar to the previous one; graphics are more in line with Fox O+O's. Did they decide to make this change low-key because they were the last in the market?

loved the intro...reminds me of the old fox 25 with david and maria I was just going to post that! Yes im glad they have the new open because I missed it when they got rid of it for the new Fox o&o open |

Also I watched the replay of Fox25 News at 10 on the HD Channel (806 for me) but it wasn't HD. Any reason why?

They may not (yet) be able to "tape delay" any HD material - alas, it happens , way too often.
But, it will probably happen sooner than later, If I had to guess.

I was just watching FOX 25 News in "HD", for the first time. Piss poor excuse for HD for me. It does not look HD at all!

i agree, studio cameras dont appear to be hd. looks like 16:9 sd. and if it they are hd camera, can they get their money back?

good question about it being hd...i do love the openings though - those are in beautiful hd, no question

a little over two weeks in, and i must say i think this is a huge improvement. i cant speak for how it looks in hd, but i would deifnitely say that the sd picture is much clearer.
i remember when 5 went hd, and ed harding said that even without hd, the picture would "pop" i think were his works. it didn't.
25's hd looks good even in sd.i also like the graphics, and love the intros.
