I must have missed reading the thread but it seems Chan 7 morning with Dylan, Anne & Adam seems to sign-off a good 5 minutes in advance before the today show. CHock full of commericials... Could be that is my typical Coffee or "constitutional" break bf confronting the day's challenges....
Another item that seems bothersome is the Sports being read by the News Team. It's similar to listening to Al Roker read the weather and think he is a meterologist! Somehow Adam and Anne leave lots to be desired when it comes to sports reporting...
Thanks Goodness Randy is now on 5 and they have a sports team.

Agreed. Ch. 7 is an abomination. No different than 7's newsbreaks allegedly at 25 minutes past each hour. It's more like 7:27:30 when they do it. WCVB's first newsbreak is at 7:24, since long before that old guy joined the broadcast team. Also, I find Ms. Allred quite unappealing. Give me Paula or Bianca any day.

I had assumed NBC, not WHDH, shortened the station break, is that not correct?

wouldn't be a surprise as the all important Revenue Stream. Perhaps if they cut out the repetitive "breaking news" reports every 5 minutes... they could add another 5 minutes for commercials.
Then again, that might mean broadcasts about a gator loose in Fl come's back... Opps.. the guy who lost 2 finger's while wrestling the family pooch away from a 7 footer was on, wasn't it?

BTW, NESN would be a better bet but even then it is not simply about local sports anymore. The gal from MO is not a sportscaster, period. Nor, does simply reading a teleprompter doesn't make you one.

I don't expect much in the TV AM Local sports-- and I get it. As long as the local scores are correct and the producer strung a couple of highlights--I'm happy.
