It seems the trips to GMA are becoming more frequent. I have a bad feeling that this will ultimately lead to her departure. Of course this is just my own observation. Does anybody else share this view? If so, I'm willing to head the "Keep JC Home" committee

I love JC and would hate to see her leave. Can you blame her for taking the job if she's offered it though? Plus, this could lead to Mike Wankum getting bumped up.

I agree, you could not blame her. I only hope it never happens. Sometimes the home grown talent needs to stay home!

Are you people nuts? JC is the absolute worst TV personality, never mind meterologist. She is the reason I don't watch Channel 5 anymore. I can only HOPE she goes to NYC or any other city. I'd be happy to head up the "GO AWAY JC" committee.

5 is very proud of their weather department, and i would imagine (not knowing any insiders there) that they would be prepared to give her whatever offer and do whatever they can to keep jc in boston.
i don't watch gma, but i do watch eyeopener and i would be diappointed to see jc go. although, i am a fan of wankum...

JC is excellent. But I don't think she's going anywhere. ABC does this with several local Mets. Its a smart move. And JC does a fabulous job. Wouldn't read anything further into this IMO

I'm sorry but enough of "Wonk!!". Call me selfish and I know JC deserves a vacation. But enough is enough.

I'll vouch for the guy on a personal level; without getting into detail, he has shown me extraordinary generosity in the past that went above and beyond and he continues to be a valued friend to this day.
But whatever floats (or doesn't float) your boat.

JC is very good. And for my money, Wankum is the best in the market.

My post wasn't intended as a bash against Mike, I think he does a great job. I'd just prefer to watch JC. And I think many would concur.

Wankum is undoubtedly one of the most professional in the market... that's why WCVB scooped him up. I felt WB56 had a certain integrity to it at 10pm... and was happy to see Wankum picked up when it folded.
